Ice Storm...

Oklahoma is known for it's erractic weather. Well a couple of weeks ago it was a beautiful 50-60 degrees outside!! Then last week happened. On Thursday morning of last week it started out as a light freezing rain, which then turned into a heavy freezing rain with snow. Where John and I live we got 5" of snow and .6" of ice.

It was so crazy!! Everything was frozen in a blowing motion. The grass was all blown to one side, and the trees were all bent over from the ice on the branches. Fortunately work was canceled for Friday, which was good since we couldn't get down our drive way!! Another fortunate thing was that the power remained on through the entire ice storm. I enjoyed a long weekend in with the hubby!!
